Greece Plans Fence for Turkish Border

KASTANIES, Greece—Greece said Monday it soon will begin building a fence six miles (10 kilometers) long topped with razor wire on its border with Turkey to deter illegal immigrants.

Thousands of illegal immigrants cross from Turkey into Greece at this point each year, often then traveling to other parts of Europe.
